Qualifications:
Canadian Commercial or Airline Transport License
Valid Cat 1 Medical
Valid Radio Telephone Operators Certificate from Industry Canada
Minimum 1000 hrs total time
Instrument Rating
2 Crew and Single Pilot IFR Experience
Valid Canadian Passport
Navajo experience – considered an asset
Previous airborne survey experience – considered an asset
Be dexterous and occasionally lift a maximum of 75lbs
All required visas or travel documents allowing you to freely travel unrestricted
Preference will be given to local applicants (Calgary area)
Preference will be given to applicants with multi-engine experience
Responsibilities & Duties:
Single pilot aerial survey flight and repositioning flights on a Piper Navajo
Supporting the day-to-day flight operations in a manner that meets or exceeds service expectations of the client while ensuring compliance with Canadian Air Regulations and IAGSA
Conducting risk analyses and SMS reviews for flight operations with a focus on continuous improvement
Supporting accident/ incident/ hazard investigations as required
Completing all required documentation in a timely manner, including flight logs, tracking sheets, SMS reports and required financial reports
Contributing positively to the culture, growth, and strategic direction of the company
Working Conditions:
Due to the nature of our business, the successful candidates must be flexible with the willingness to work weekends, evenings, and holidays. Our home base is Calgary/Springbank (CYBW) but the majority of our work is done on a rotational basis in the field all over North America.

We are looking for an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our field maintenance team in Calgary.
This position will require AME's to travel occasionally to locations throughout North America to complete inspections or repairs.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Applicants must be qualified in accordance with Transport Canada CARS 573.04
Valid AME M1 License
Single and twin-piston aircraft experience; Piper Navajo experience would be considered an asset
Valid Driver’s license
Valid passport and ability to travel to the US and Internationally as required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Able to complete work with minimal oversight
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and email
Job Details:
Full-time position at Calgary/Springbank Airport, Alberta
Salary with full medical and dental benefits
Occasional travel required to complete an inspection or AOG
Residence within Calgary or surrounding area.
Responsibilities:
Complete daily and scheduled maintenance, as required
Troubleshooting and fixing snags
Completing work orders through online program

Aries is a Transport Canada-approved maintenance organization providing line maintenance, heavy maintenance, structural repair, and specialized avionics work. Aries Aviation is looking for a motivated E-licensed AME to manage and grow our Avionics Department. The ideal candidate will have a good mix of experience in troubleshooting and repairing equipment and installation of new equipment.
The Avionics AME is responsible for ensuring that all avionics installation and repair work is performed in accordance with the procedures contained in the MPM and the relevant CARS.
The duties and accountabilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Primary focus will be on maintaining our current fleet of 8 Piper Navajo aircraft, with a variety of legacy and modern avionics.
Secondary function will be to develop and implement a growth strategy to capitalize on Avionics business activities.
Tracking calibration requirements of all specialized Avionics test equipment
Ensuring the accurate and thorough completion of technical records.
Ensuring the appropriate entries are made and/or transcribed into the aircraft journey logs and technical logs.
Certifying avionics work released for flight and deferrals of any unserviceabilities.
Tracking parts and components used, and ensuring replacements are requisitioned as required.
Tracking and submitting hours worked, and parts used, for billing purposes on projects for outside customers.
Communicating with outside customers on projects, recertification and repairs.
Assigning responsibility for the functions listed above to suitably licensed and qualified individuals within the company and performing other duties as assigned by the Director of Maintenance.
This is a full-time salary position. Monday to Friday day shift, with flexibility for occasional evening and weekend work during AOG situations.
